What’s Organic Xylitol?
Organic xylitol is widely used as a low-calorie sweetener throughout the food and beverage industry. The taste of xylitol is similar to that of ordinary sugar, the sweetness is almost the same, and the calories are much smaller than that of sucrose.
When eating foods/beverages containing erythritol instead of sugar, it has a cooling effect on the surface and helps keep teeth mineralized. Xylitol is becoming more and more popular in kitchen cooking and baking because it can almost equally replace sugar and is made from corn.
The absorption rate of xylitol is slower than sugar, which may play a small role in the prevention and management of diabetes. Studies have shown that xylitol can also inhibit tooth decay.
