What is Organic inulin powder?
Organic inulin is a natural, plant-based prebiotic fiber that supports digestive health and the gut microbiome. It is a white, fine powder with a slightly sweet taste. It is extracted from organic Jerusalem artichoke tubers, which are one of the richest sources of inulin. Organic inulin can be used in various applications such as food, beverages, supplements, and cosmetics. It can improve the texture, flavor, and nutritional value of your products.
Organic inulin can stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria such as Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus in the colon. These bacteria can produce short-chain fatty acids, which nourish the colon cells and provide various health benefits. Organic inulin can also help relieve constipation, promote weight loss, control blood sugar levels, and enhance calcium absorption.
We offer organic inulin, with different degrees of polymerization (DP), ranging from 2 to 60. The DP indicates the average number of fructose units linked together in the inulin molecule. The lower the DP, the shorter the chain and the sweeter the taste. The higher the DP, the longer the chain and the more fiber-like properties.
DP 2-10: This specification has a low DP and a high sweetness. It is suitable for applications that require a sweet taste and a low viscosity, such as beverages, syrups, and dairy products.
DP 11-25: This specification has a medium DP and a medium sweetness. It is suitable for applications that require a balanced taste and viscosity, such as bakery products, cereals, and bars.
DP 26-60: This specification has a high DP and a low sweetness. It is suitable for applications that require a high fiber content and a high viscosity, such as supplements, capsules, and powders.
All our organic inulin powder is certified by EU & USDA organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, halal, and kosher standards. They are produced with high-quality organic Jerusalem artichoke tubers and processed in a hygienic environment. We ensure the traceability and safety of our products.
